Jancis says – “Mother and son carry on this tiny domaine. The rest of the grapes go into Guigal’s Condrieu. Very heady and full-on on the nose. But this is very obviously Condrieu rather than simply Viognier. Nice savoury, salty undertow. This could be quite a revelation to many unfamiliar with the appellation. Lovely round texture but sufficient freshness to convince me it is not going to fall over in a hurry. Classic Condrieu. There is even a hint of dried apricot. It really is very similar to Guigal’s Condrieu.”
Drink now to 2019.
