Aged for over nine months in French oak it’s a whopping 16% alc but despite that, it’s the most complex of the range, maybe that’s what you expect for nearly £30 a bottle.

It is fuller and rounder than the classic blend VV, but that’s Alvarinho for you! Bags of easy fruit and a great summery wine to enjoy on its own or with light foods.

Now we have the full range of Lamothe-Vincent’s great Bordeaux wines. This is an unusual blend of sauvignon Gris and Sauvignon Blanc which has been aged in barrels for a brief time and the resultant wine is full and rich but not obviously oaky. Lovely food wine, but also great on its own. This new 2021 vintage is just fantastic!
