There are so many different types of Chardonnay. From the finest Burgundies to the cheapest and nastiest over-oaked and over-produced big brands. Here's a fresh, dry, unoaked (let the fruit do the talking) Chardonnay. First impressions are of a tropical-fruity Chilean Chardonnay from the Casablanca Valley, but it's actually from Gascony.

Christophe and Sébastien are two brothers living in Gascony, where the Laffitte family has lived since medieval times! There are archives at the town hall of Ayzieu which find mentions of the family since the 15th century! The two brothers work together which is where the idea of the tandem on the label came from and the duck and the goose riding the tandem is a nod to the area’s gastronomy.
