One of Diane's 100% varietal wines showcasing the best of the local varieties. Made from 100% Carignan grapes from very old vines and aged in barrels for eight months. It's difficult to find new words for a new wine from Diane as they are all just soooo good! This is no exception; rich, fruity with a depth of colour and an elegant balance.

Fun fact, Diane’s Les Cimels Red was the inspiration for the founding of the Real Wine Company! Diane had taken over a failing estate which was over-producing huge quantities of dilute, boring wines which were helping to fill the EU Wine Lake. Diane set about restoring these beautiful old vineyards to restrict the quantities and improve the quality in direct inverse proportion. First of all, they got the quality right, then they got on with conversion to organic and bio-dynamic status which all their wines now are. The château name comes from the family crest which is Gold and Red.
