Those lovely people from Florentino Martinez produce one of our best-selling wines – their dry, unoaked white. Whilst on our most recent visit I also tried this off-dry wine for the first time and really liked it. It’s a floral style (think Viognier or dry Muscat). Drink chilled on its own or with a nice spicy Thai Curry!
Oh, and it was voted Best White Wine in the Rioja Cosecheros Awards

The new 2022 vintage is just in and just as good as ever. Worth the wait, I’d say….A blend of Cinsault and Mourvedre this is as close to a classic Provence Rose as you can get without actually coming from Provence. Well, the estate is just over the border.

Forget the old, sweet unfashionable rosés of the past; this is a dry, refreshing blend of predominantly Grenache, with Syrah and Mourvèdre which has no oak aging. Deliciously thirst-quenching, strawberry fruit flavours. You will not want to put it down.

Now we have the full range of Lamothe-Vincent’s great Bordeaux wines. This is an unusual blend of sauvignon Gris and Sauvignon Blanc which has been aged in barrels for a brief time and the resultant wine is full and rich but not obviously oaky. Lovely food wine, but also great on its own. This new 2021 vintage is just fantastic!
