Single Estate red from 100% Touriga Nacional grapes. I did taste the various blends at this quality level, but my personal taste was for this pure indigenous varietal which reeks of Portugal. Lovely deep, rich colour. An almost perfumed nose and a soft, smooth palate. Jolly nice!

Great quaffing wine, but rather a superior quaffing wine and also a good food wine. From a great Estate in Robertson! Green appley characters but not sharp. Refreshing and fruity, finishes with that touch of minerality which elevates it from the masses. Lovely winter wine, summer wine, spring wine, autumn wine….

The new 2022 vintage is just in and just as good as ever. Worth the wait, I’d say….A blend of Cinsault and Mourvedre this is as close to a classic Provence Rose as you can get without actually coming from Provence. Well, the estate is just over the border.

Forget the old, sweet unfashionable rosés of the past; this is a dry, refreshing blend of predominantly Grenache, with Syrah and Mourvèdre which has no oak aging. Deliciously thirst-quenching, strawberry fruit flavours. You will not want to put it down.

As good as all their other styles, this Rose is a blend of 80% of the “Tradition” white blend and 20% red wine from the hills around Rilly La Montagne. Did you know that Champagne is the only wine in France allowed to blend white and red wines to make a Rose’ All the rest must be made entirely from red grapes.
Compares more than favourably to the biggest seller in the UK, Laurent Perrier Rose, but at about half the price, so go no further…
